Short pleated full-zip jacket from ISSEY MIYAKE MEN, Autumn/Winter 1996-1997, by Naoki Takizawa. It is a rare and beautiful instance of the iconic pleats from the ISSEY MIYAKE brand. Although acting as Issey Miyake's right-hand man for many years and taking a primary role in the development of the pleating technique, Naoki Takizawa scarcely used the recognizable pleats in his menswear collections. The jacket is light, but keeps a good structure when worn. The pockets, zipper, and high collar set it apart from other pleated jackets from the brand. It is in great condition.
